Charlie Jennings

Charlie founded Stonehouse Corporation in 2012 to be the preferred private ownership platform for outstanding Australasian businesses.

Stonehouse’s permanent ownership philosophy and fund structures are in conscious imitation of Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger’s Berkshire Hathaway.    

Charles attended his first Berkshire Hathaway meeting at age 15, and has always been curious about business.

He began his career as an operating manager, followed by management consulting. His first private equity role was at a leading Boston venture capital firm. Prior to starting Stonehouse, Charles’s team created, acquired, and operated businesses of strategic importance for an ASX 50 company.

Charlie holds a BA cum laude from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Harvard.
